| Subject: Aaron update 73 Date: Sunday, February 16, 2003 2:47 PM From: Kevin Quick To: Aaron Update List Aaron gained another 30 grams, so he’s now at 2170 grams, or 4.78 pounds. Still growing! Grandma L. fed Aaron his 10 a.m. bottle again, and Great Aunt Elaine and Uncle Brian were able to hold Aaron for a little while, too. (25-weeker) James’ isolette is now next to Aaron’s crib, so we’re getting to know his parents George and Kerry a bit better. James is 3 weeks behind Aaron gestationally, so it’s interesting watching George and Kerry go through many of the same things that Kathleen and I went through three weeks ago. Today, George was able to hold James for a short time, and Kathleen and I finally got a chance to get a good look at James (he’s been on mask CPAP for quite a while, so we hadn’t been able to see his face). He’s around 1400 grams (3 pounds) now, looks good, and is apparently doing well. Here’s a picture of Grandma L. burping Aaron after feeding time. Love, Kevin |
