Subject: Aaron update 91 Date: Friday, March 7, 2003 1:31 PM From: Kevin Quick To: Aaron Update List Aaron gained 2 grams, so not much change there. Kathleen talked with Dr. Kathy Lewis this morning. Dr. Lewis said that the only thing really keeping Aaron at the hospital now is his need for oxygen. Dr. Lewis expects that before long, the insurance company will be calling the hospital and saying that they are no longer willing to pay $X thousand per day just to continue supplying Aaron with oxygen. Once that happens, Aaron could be coming home very soon thereafter. This weekend Kathleen and I will be receiving instruction on infant CPR. We have several other things to learn as well, such as how to use the oxygen equipment, breathing monitor, etc. We’ll be learning those things before Aaron comes home, assuming he does come home on oxygen. I’ll be traveling to San Francisco in a couple of hours. I plan on returning home on Monday, probably by myself, but... who knows?? Have a good weekend. Kevin
