| Subject: Aaron update 88 Date: Tuesday, March 4, 2003 4:03 PM From: Kevin Quick To: Aaron Update List Kathleen said that Aaron is doing fine today, and that he gained another 20 grams. Kathleen spent the morning with Aaron, feeding him and “kangarooing” with him. Aaron has been moved to a prime location in the TCN, a somewhat private corner right next to a big window that looks out onto the emergency area of the hospital, with big trees, etc. Kathleen now has this nice window to look out of as she feeds and spends time with Aaron. Nurse Lisa returned today, after being off for a week. She had told Kathleen and me last week that she’d like to be the one to discharge Aaron and send him home with us, before she leaves for vacation on March 13. Of course, Aaron will stay at the hospital as long as he needs to, so Lisa may not be able to do Aaron’s discharge, if he’s discharged around Kathleen’s due date of March 17. We’ll see how things go, though. Kevin |
