| Subject: Aaron update 78 Date: Saturday, February 22, 2003 4:03 PM From: Kevin Quick To: Aaron Update List Aaron’s been up and down with his on-demand feedings, and up and down with his weight. We’ll continue on our present course for now. We met with Dr. Lee yesterday, and our best guess now is that Aaron might be coming home in about 2 weeks, or maybe 3 weeks. We’re going to try to wean him off of oxygen completely and establish his breast and bottle feeding by then. That’s the overall plan for now, anyway. If his oxygen requirements don’t continue to decrease (they’ve been steadily decreasing over the past few weeks), he’ll come home on oxygen; he will not remain at the hospital simply because he needs oxygen. Kathleen and Lisa gave Aaron his second bath today (see the attached photo). Kathleen and I are dragging a little; we’re ready to move on to our “at home” phase.
