| Subject: Aaron update 58 Date: Saturday, February 1, 2003 1:20 PM From: Kevin Quick To: Aaron Update List We’re back in San Francisco, staying in our usual room #406, phone #415-600-XXXX. All continues on track. Aaron gained another 50 grams yesterday, so he now weighs 1615 grams, or 3.56 pounds. Last Saturday, he weighed 3.08 pounds. He’s gained a half pound in the past week! He looks really, really good. He’s peaceful, happy, and alert when he’s awake. From what the nurses have been telling us, Aaron seems to have a sweet, gentle, easily-satisfied disposition. We can accept that! His feeds are now 30cc every 3 hours, up from 26cc every 3 hours. He tries bottle feeding once per 8-hour shift. This morning, before his bottle feeding, he had a little breast feeding “play time,” and he did well. At this point, he’ll be getting most of his milk from the bottle, because his milk intake can be precisely measured that way.
