Another excellent day! Aaron’s feedings have been bumped up this morning from 2cc to 3cc every 2 hours. He seems to be perfectly fine, and is looking really good. Keep it up, boy! You’re doing great!

Here’s Aaron in his “froggy” position, as Kathleen calls it. He now spends time on his stomach as well as on his back. The nurses flip him over several times each day. He especially seems to like being on his stomach; he sleeps very peacefully this way.

Thank you, friends and family, for your stress management ideas! Kathleen and I will do our best to keep well hydrated, eat well, sleep well and get some exercise. I’d been commenting to Kathleen almost every day for the past month that I haven’t gotten any exercise in the past month, and I don’t think that helps my strength level much. Kathleen has gone back to pumping every 3 hours, rather than every 2 hours, so that will help her get a little more sleep (thanks to nurse Karen in the NICU for that one). We both slept pretty well last night, and that’s helping us both to feel a bit better today. As soon as I send off this update, Kathleen and I will be going out for a 1-hour walk up and down the hills of San Francisco. We’re in a nice neighborhood, and it’s a beautiful sunny day today. Thanks again!

Love, Kevin, Kathleen & Aaron
