| Subject: Aaron update 12 Date: Saturday, December 14, 2002 2:44 PM From: Kevin Quick To: Aaron Update List We’re back in SF, in room #114 again. The direct phone line to our room is 415-600-XXXX. Aaron is back on the ventilator. His CO2 levels got a little too high, and toward the end he was working too hard at breathing on the CPAP machine. He did well, though, and he’ll be put back on CPAP in a few days. He’s been fed 6 times now, 1cc each time. The food is going down. Right now, this is considered “gut stimulation,” and not really feeding. He’ll get another feeding in a few hours, then they’ll let things settle a bit before checking for bile. He has had some bile, but again, the food seems to be going down. Ah, it’s great to be back in San Francisco! I took the attached picture today. Love, Kevin, Kathleen & Aaron |
